I am not ready for a full start-up yet, can I temp start a Flo unit?

I am on-site to perform a full start-up of a Flo unit but I don't have a checkout scheduled, who do I need to call?

I am performing a full start-up of a Flo unit, what do I need to do?

"If you have been contracted by Flo to perform a start-up, you must: 1. Have a copy of the ""SU-GEN-01 Start-Up Reference Manual"" on hand to assist you in performing the start-up to Flo standards (found in SELF HELP/START-UP section of this website). 2. Document your start-up using the ""SU-FOR-01 Start-Up Audit Form"" (found in SELF HELP/START-UP section of this website). 3. Take the required images as outlined on the ""SU-FOR-01 Start-Up Audit Form"" and email the images to startup@systemsflo.com before your checkout. 4. Call into your checkout at the scheduled date and time (888-598-1198 Opt.2)."

I've got a Flo unit on order on my project, who do I contact to coordinate the delivery?

Please contact our Project Coordination team at 866-706-2647 Opt. 1.

If Flo is providing sensors for the unit, where do I find them?

Field installed sensors provided by Flo are always located within the controls cabinet of the Flo unit.

My Flo unit appears to be damaged on arrival, who do I report this to?

Please take photos of the damage and email your project coodinator with the details and images of the damage found. If you do not have your project coordinators email, call 866-706-2647 Opt. 1. Note, it is very important to document any damage found on the BOL at the time of delivery.

What do I need to do to prepare a Flo unit for start-up?

We have a form that will help guide you through the steps required to prepare for start-up. The form is titled "IN-FOR-0001 Flo Pre-Start-Up Approval Form" and is found in the SELF HELP/INSTALLATION section of this website.

What equipment do I need to offload a Flo unit?

If you have a 9, 11-25 and 30 ton unit, you can use a crane or a forklift with 72" forks or fork extensions. If you have 6-8 and 10 ton units, forks or fork extensions must be at least 48" in length or craned. All other unit sizes above 30 tonnes must be offloaded with a crane. Where do I need to mount the sensors for the Flo unit?

Depending on the sensor you are mounting, we have a series of Technical Guides in our SELF HELP/INSTALLATION section of this website. If you cannot find an appropriate guide, please call Flo Tech Support at 888-598-1198 Opt.1
