Senior Project Manager

Overview

The Sr. Project Manager provides overall day-to-day oversight on FLO MPU installation projects to ensure the complete execution of project fulfillment while delighting the Customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the review of technical material to verify correctness (user manuals, troubleshooting FAQ etc.).
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to drive projects forward to ensure a timely, high quality project completion.
  • Manage project scope, goals within budgeted cost and on time to schedule.
  • Facilitate project meetings and status updates to support strong collaboration on project execution and effective communications.
  • Manage supplier relationships and provide support for procurement, logistics, and other relevant functions involved in the execution of projects.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, critical path, determine potential solutions to optimize progress, escalating within the organization as necessary.
  • Resolves and implements action plans to ensure appropriate resolution of all business and technical issues.
  • Develop project management infrastructure and lead improvements to create/revise departmental standards, specifications, procedures, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous work process and productivity improvements on project and service activities.
  • Training and development of less experienced personnel related to project coordination and field service/startup accountabilities.
  • Maintain timely communication with clients and 3rd party partner representatives to ensure successful project completion.
  • Ensures successful coordination of overall project activities and tasks with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors.
  • Conduct project review/evaluation and results assessment.
  • Demonstrate the behaviors that support Flo’s Success Profiles to activate strategic priorities, client touchpoints, and culture with disciplined execution and accountability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years related experience in project management, planning, and tracking.
  • Engineering or Business degree and relevant industry experience required MBA or PMP certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with HVAC systems in food retail is an asset.
  • Ability to communicate with customers clearly, accurately, and appropriately across all applicable applications (email, phone, video conferencing etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Solutions-focused mindset and attitude.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations.
  • Experience coaching and team building.
  • Experience with and understanding of full project or product lifecycle.
  • Achieving the balance of and the right priority across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Expertise in change management.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders in related industries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and leading industry Project Management software.

Conditions of Employment

  • Permanent full-time employment.
  • Travel to job sites, manufacturing facilities, and customer locations.
  • Ability to work from home with a home-based office.
  • Valid passport: able to travel across North America.
